The way we show up in relationships has little to do with others, and much to do with us. Intimacy is 'I see all of you, and I love all of you.' We often believe parts of ourselves are less lovable and mask these less desirable pieces. We're left feeling unloved because 'if only they knew.' I numbed for years with pornography and alcohol, unaware of it's impact on me, hiding while believing something was wrong with me, 'Most men live lives of quiet desperation' and there's a path not just to freedom, but real power and impact.

2024 will likely shake the ground beneath us. This nation and world is changing rapidly and likely far more in the year ahead.
We need good men.
Not just nice guys, but sovereign, spirit led, soul driven men capable and willing to lead and resist when necessary. Able to regulate their emotions, are proactive, show up even when they don’t feel like it, able to inspire others towards necessary action, disciplined, connected to a higher power, loving, passionate and eager for service and sacrifice.
I was imprisoned behind bars of my own making in sexual and substance addiction for more than two decades. No judgement to myself or anyone in that battle currently. I now know I was doing my best at the time with my level of awareness and I’m confident you are too. However, I embodied none of the before mentioned characteristics I so deeply respected in others.
I spent most of my 20’s and 30’s insecure, proud, reactive, weak, narcissistic, irresponsible, unloving, hedonistic, overly agreeable, co-dependent, easily frustrated, distracted, a people pleaser, fearful, easily controlled and manipulated, selfish and ineffective.
Be encouraged. This is no longer my story, and does not need to remain yours. What you’ve done or haven’t done doesn’t disqualify you for impact, it’s actually what qualifies you. Read that again. It qualifies you. Being with and alchemizing your current story and pain is your way forward in this world.
